I wasn't keen for this ride because I had been bogged down with work and that sort of stuff. Hilly, Mick, Josh and Levi were keen. So was Ryan but he winged himself early in the week and we had to make the hard choice to take riders rather than photographers etc. Poor Ryan. The rain was the main thing and it was pretty rare to worry if we were going to be rained out!. Bugger it and we went anyway and had a circle of clear sky above us at every park we went to. Chris is a local and was doing some huge stuff for someone that is 5 foot tall. Props to the young guy. Hilly messed himself straight up a Gunners but no real biggy. Everyone hit the spine and Mick and Hilly were going tandem. You'd think we didn't have a spine at Yass. Oh that's right we don't The Council is too busy thinking of Sheep and how many Woolworths they can have in Yass rather than spend money like every other Council in the world does on it's youth. Maccas at Weston and then to the Park itself. No stress but the Tuggers and Weston crew were there and we found it hard to get a roll on such a small Park. Levi was blown away with the riders and some of the stuff was insane. Canberra has a high quality crew. We headed on to Tuggers for a bit more space and spent the rest of the night there. Hilly mastered the spine again as did Josh. Mick stepped up and had it down pat. He loves to whip it over it and at one point thought to do it before he even launched. Obviously got a bit messed up and his elbow spat some claret. He sooked out after that but it was ok. Josh and Hilly were content to manual the boxes and Josh was getting it pretty consistent. Levi was landing disasters on the 3 foot which was pretty cool. Another big night but we thought to go past Civic on the way home and the lights were on!!. We had a roll there but we were all too buggered since it was about midnight and our trip had been on for about 6 hours. A bit of a street ride was on and it was a highlight but we won't go into detail for fear of being arrested. Anyhoo' for a night where I wasn't too keen it fired me up and I had some good rolls that made me feel good. Thanks guys.
